Talend Cloud provides broad connectivity to support the latest cloud technologies and gives access to self-service tools for discovering, cleansing, and sharing data.

 

This learning plan covers the main functionalities of Talend Cloud for a data analyst: creating and managing datasets in Talend Data Inventory; creating preparations to cleanse, structure, and enrich data; preparing data using Pipeline Designer; and handling tasks using Talend Data Stewardship.

 

Duration: 1 day (7 hours)

 

Target audience: Data analysts who need to use data and want to learn how to use the tools to access it

 

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of computing and general database concepts

 

Learning objectives: After completing this learning plan, you will be able to:

• Create datasets and manage them in Talend Data Inventory

• Create preparations and share them using Talend Data Preparation

• Develop simple pipelines that read and process data from a remote database using Pipeline Designer

• Develop a pipeline that prepares customers’ data and improves the quality of the data using Pipeline Designer

• Build a resolution campaign and handle tasks in Talend Data Stewardship
